I had the pleasure of interviewing Miss Raven Chanel (@_RavenChanel) aka Sexy Rebel, the host of the Get Down Radio show of Atlanta, GA. Read the exclusive interview below:

MP: How did this get started as the host of the Get Down Radio show of ATL?
RC: The show was already in place when I came on board. I met DJ Al through a mutual friend. We had a small meeting and I was asked to host the show. The producer and other staff came up with a working platform and format and we went from there.

MP: Ya'll really do get DOWN on the show, and talk about anything and everything, is that why the show has its title? Is that what keeps its viewers interested?
RC: That is exactly why the show has its title. The fact that we are Internet radio gives us a little more freedom to discuss and go into detail on topics. Our guest also keep the show very interesting we get them involved in our topics as well and try to get them to open up about our topics.

MP: On average how many viewers do you have?
RC: We have a great fan base and support system. Our viewers come from all over and all have different opinions. We have a large number of independent artists that watch our show as well as other people in urban entertainment.

MP: Are you the only host, do you have co-hosts, and guest hosts?
RC: I am not the only host. Phat Cheeks and Snapshot assist me with running the show. Phat Cheeks has a background in music management and always gives his honest opinion with humor. Snapshot has a background in videography and is very straight forward when giving his opinion but is also entertaining. The chemistry is great. We have has guest host such as celebrity chef Shane Michaels to sit in with us sometimes. Our DJ's make guest appearances as well.

MP: What is your favorite part of hosting the Get Down Radio show?
RC: There are so many great things about hosting this show. I would have to say one of the best parts about hosting the show is getting to meet and talk with up and coming independent artists. Getting to hear there new projects first and seeing them perform live. It's pretty cool to watch stars being made.

MP: Have you worked with any prestigious names so far? If so, who?
RC: We've had so many great guest. As I mentioned before chef Shane Michaels from the Real Housewives of Atlanta has worked closely with us. We assisted him with feeding the homeless in downtown Atlanta during the Christmas holiday. We've had music industry expert Kevin Shine on the show to discuss key aspects of making it in the music business. Scotty who is an exciting up and coming artist in the Atlanta area was one of our very first guests. We've also had legendary singer/songwriter Puff Johnson to come by and talk with us as well.

MP: Anything new/exciting coming in 2013 that The MC Magazine can get an exclusive sneak about?
RC: So many exciting things are coming this year for this show. We'll definitely have more great guest and hit music. We are involved with one of the biggest events in Atlanta the Salute the DJ's Awards. This event is in it's fourth year and we are honored to be involved with all the events surrounding the awards. We also have monthly industry mixers showcasing some of the hottest new talent from all over. We are becoming more involved with our community service initiative and are always looking for local charities to network with.

MP: Thank you so much for the interview, Miss Raven! **Any special shout-outs?

Thank you to the entire Get Down Radio staff: Phat Cheeks and Snapshot who host the show along with  me, our DJ's DJ Al, DJ Purp, DJ CBo and DJ 1Tyme. Our producers Brandon and B Rich, our engineer Mario and our social network team Alisa and Tonya.

Look who we got an exclusive interview with! None other than Judi Jai from The Bad Girls Club! Check it out below:

PP: Everyone knows you as the “Krazi” one of the bunch, while on The Bad Girls Club, what do you think about that?
JJ:I think it's typical. What people don't understand they always call "Krazi." I am just misunderstood ;) hahahaha.

PP:Now, that The Bad Girls Club season 7 has since passed, do you still consider yourself a Krazi Bad Girl like others may view you?
JJ:I am not crazy 24/7. I like to chill, too. I've changed a lot of my ways, but a lot of my ways are still the same because that's me. I can't pretend to be something I am not.

PPIf you could describe yourself in just three words (adjectives) what would they be?
JJ:Outgoing, loyal, and artistic.

PP:Judi, we read online that you are an only child, is that true? And if so, how do you think that made you into the person that you are today?
JJ:Yes I am an only child. I think it played a big role on how I act. I am use to getting what I want and being the center of attention. Unfortunately, the older I get I realize the world doesn't work like that ;( pray for my future husband, hahaha.

PP:What did you learn about yourself and life in general while on your season of The Bad Girls Club?
JJ: I learned that I can stand on my own two feet and at the end of the day nobody will love you and care about you like you do for yourself.

PP:Do you still talk to any of the other roommates that you had during Bad Girls Club Season 7?
JJ:Yes, I am still close with Tiara and Angelic. Me and Shelly have no beef either.

PP:We also read that you are an aspiring TV Show and Radio personality, are you doing anything in your desired field at the moment?
JJ:I have my own radio show on Jermaine Dupri's website #global14 every Friday at 5pm. You can follow it on twitter @thejudijaishow. I will also be appearing on Oxygen's Love Games 4 this Monday Nov12.  I won season 3, and they brought me back duhhhh ;) I have another surprise project as well.

PP:Anything that you are working on right now that you can give us exclusive information about?
JJ:I do have something up my sleeves, but do to contracts.. my lips are sealed! But until then y'all can look forward to my Show Magazine hitting racks in February :) Black Lingerie edition!

PP:What is the best way that Judi Jai fans can keep in touch with her?

JJ:Follow me on twitter @judijaikrazi and on instagram at MsJudiJai , also book me in your city at bookjudijai@yahoo.com.

PP:Any special Shoutouts?
JJ:Shoutout to team Judi voodoo dawls, my manager with DTM management, oxygen, bunim Murray and the whole Bad Girls/Love Games franchise!
