TMC: What made you want to pursue music?
EM: Stared off as me being a fan of music growing up listening to different genres of music I fell in love with it. A friend had asked me to jump on a song with him even though I didn't rap at that time, so I did it heard what i recorded through the loud speakers & I knew that I could do this & do it very well! I am competitive person mixing that with the passion for music it was a easy choice for me to purse music.
TMC: How are you different from other artists on the come up?
EM: Im different from other artists is that I really can RAP!! lol I feel like the combinations of my delivery, metaphors, relatability separates me from the usual content that artists unsigned or signed is putting out. Also my voice is very distinguished you will know its me on a track or wont confuse me with nobody else.
TMC: What has been your biggest achievement since in the industry?
EM: A couple things, being able to get my single played on major radio in my hometown 3 times a week for a long period of time is something that a lot of artists is not doing. I felt accomplished ny being able to pull that off! Also performing in New York city (Times Square) was a great experience for me I gotta put that up there
TMC: Musically, who can you say are your biggest influences?
EM: The biggest influence was artists like Biggie, Bone thugs & Harmony, Fabulous was a big influence because the way he can go in lyrically & than turn around & make a catchy song & do it well. I have to say going through a struggle with this music is my biggest influence just knowing you can make it or accomplish things along the way influences me to keep creating fresh music & going harder.
TMC: Tell us something that people may not know about you?
EM: lol man People might not know about me is that my Favorite show to this day is "Martin" lol i watched that now! Also that I'm a very thoughtful person when it comes to government, politics, news, I just don't believe everything that we was taught growing up......it can get deep.
TMC: What's Next? New projects?
EM: Whats next is taking over the world, naw my new single "Say So" is doing great radio plays, getting ready to shoot the visual for that & got a project "Next Level" coming out at the top of the year 2013 so steady working & keep expanding my network that I have created for myself.
